Summertime

The temperature starts to rise
It becomes humid and hot
Air conditioned rooms and beaches
This season, become well-sought

Summer, Summer
Now it is your time
Two months off from school
Each day, fully mine

No more waking up early
Getting late to school
Forget about all the homework
Just think of that fine pool

Swimming, going to the beach
These thoughts constatnly fill my mind
Sand, seashells, a tan and boys
Oh! Such great finds

Staying up late each night
Watching TV, partying with friends
Shopping at the mall and such
Buying a new wardrobe with the latest trends

Go abroad, travel around
Have fun and travel around
Moving from place to place
Not knowing where you are bound

Oh, this sweet summer feeling
I hope it will never end
But sadly, school must come again
June 6 is just around the bend
